Cheeseburger Crunch Wrap

I recently shared this cheeseburger crunch wrap on my Instagram and Pinterest feed and it went pretty viral! So many of you have asked for the recipe, so here it is. Inspired by Taco Bell's popular Crunch Wrap Supreme, only with hamburger ingredients on a low-carbohydrate wrap for a fun twist on the classic.
The first time I did this crunch wrap on Instagram, I used lean beef for the patty that I found a bite to be dry. This time I used 93% ground turkey and it was a lot juicier. You can also use any type of ground beef you prefer. Meatless burgers work well too. Just make sure your tortilla is at least 10 inches.

Cheeseburger Crunch Wrap Ideas

I filled my crunch pack with traditional burger fixins: cheddar cheese, ketchup, mustard, dill pickles, red onions, and shredded lettuce. Below are some more ideas on what to put in your cheeseburger wrapper. Let me know in the comments what combinations you can find!

Taco Bell also puts a tostada in the middle of its wrapper to make it crispy. I left it out to save calories but if you want the crisis add it!

Sauce: BBQ sauce, Dijon mustard, mayonnaise, salsa

Vegetables: caramelized onions, sauteed mushrooms, avocado, pickled onions

Cheeses: blue cheese, gouda, brie, white cheddar

Spice: jalapenos, green chillies

Meat: bacon

Crunch: Tostada, potato chips, french fries

How to fold a crunch wrap

Lay out a 10-inch tortilla and place the burger patty on the bottom with all of the other ingredients.

Fold over one of the sides of the tortilla, then keep folding the other sides on top of each other.

Place the wrap, folded side down, in the pan or air fryer and cook for a few minutes to seal the tortilla.

Turn over to brown the other side.

This cheeseburger crunch wrap is so simple, filled with classic burger ingredients and wrapped in a crispy tortilla. Use whatever burger meat you want here!

 • 8th Ounces 93% ground turkey
 • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
 • 2 large, 10 inch low carb tortillas (tumaros)
 • 2 Discs American or Cheddar, (0.7 ounces each)
 • 2 tablespoon Ketchup
 • 1 tablespoon golden mustard
 • Dill cucumber and red onion slices
 • shredded lettuce
 • Olive oil spray

Optional for crunch:

 • Add french fries or french fries, if desired (extra)

For pan:

 • Spray a pan and heat over medium heat. Add the burgers and cook 5 minutes on each side until cooked through.

 • Wipe it clean and spray oil on it. Keep it heated over medium-low heat.

 • Place the burger in the center of the wrap, followed by the cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, and lettuce. Fold the sides over to wrap them up crispy by folding the sides on top of each other.

 • Place on the hot pan with the folded side down. Cook 1 to 2 minutes until brown, then flip and cook another 1 to 2 minutes until brown and crispy.

For air fryer:

 • Fry the burgers 400F in the air for 10 to 14 minutes, until cooked through in the middle.

 • Wipe the air fryer basket clean and spray oil on it.

 • Place the burger in the center of the wrap, followed by the cheese, pickles, onions, ketchup, mustard, and lettuce.

 • Fold the sides over to wrap them crispy and place them folded side down on the air fryer basket.

 • Preheat your air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes, then add your foil folded side down, splatter the top with oil, and air fry for 4 to 5 minutes. Gently turn it over halfway.

Personally, I think this worked better in a pan.
