6 Ingredient No-Bake Vanilla Nut Butter Fudge

6 Ingredient No-Bake Vanilla Nut Butter Fudge

With the distance keeping us apart this holiday season, I've looked for DIY kitchen projects that could safely make it to loved ones as an affair of the heart. This super easy fudge could be exactly what I was hoping for. With just six ingredients and just a few easy steps to put together, the candy from No-Bake Vegan Desserts uses cashew butter as a base and maple syrup as a natural sweetener.

Christina Leopold, the author, says this could even be her favorite recipe in the book: "This no-bake fudge is made in minutes with just a few ingredients and can be kept in your freezer so you always have a supply of candy for Hand, "she writes. And she has a unique suggestion for how to use it other than a nibble: "Try adding it to warm oatmeal for a sweet, sticky, and melting treat," she suggests – what sounds like a super fun way, our bowl of oatmeal upgrade with something sweet, salty, nutty taste.

Cashew butter might not be the nut butter you reach for first, but if you only have the whole nuts available, you can always make your own – just make sure you toast them first so they'll have a little more flavor. After all, with so few steps to make the fudge, why not make the nut butter yourself?
