This month's headline says Mars, the planet of aggression and propulsion, will be retrograde in its native Aries from September 9th to November 13th. Mars is making an extended visit to Aries from June 27th to January 6th. Let your minds simmer and hothead. At the moment there is hardly any pause between stimulus and reaction.
And while it is important that people don't feel silenced or oppressed, it is equally important that we speak from an informed and mindful place. This is not easy when so much pain evokes a source of emotions from deep within our collective psyche.
The benefit of retrograde Mars is that it takes the emotional temperature of the world from a boil to a boil. Instead of being reactive, we may find the space proactive – which is in everyone's best interests. The adage "answer instead of react" helps us to reverse Mars.
The hard part is that in reverse, Mars can make us suppress our anger and create the effect of a dormant volcano. All of this suppressed anger could explode if Mars directly rotated on November 13th, one day after the already volatile Jupiter-Pluto conjunction on November 12th. (We don't post scary predictions, but we are committed to reporting the range of opportunities so you can be prepared.)
