Psychology today calls mindfulness or mindfulness a state of active and open attention in the present. It focuses on living in the moment rather than dwelling in the past or anticipating the future. Given this definition, does mindfulness practice fit the concept of professional advancement? Given the forward-looking nature of the term "progress", is it possible?
We must have a goal that determines the course of our actions. In positive psychology, this is known as a "purpose in life," a meaningful individual project that involves engagement.
However, when mindfulness is combined with the concept of purpose, you create a very compelling proposition for businesses and executives.
Live Your Purpose: Implement your plan and relate the results of your self-assessment and development to your daily activities. Start the day with your goals and others you know.
How does that look in real life? Conscious, purposeful leadership adjusts your ability to identify growth opportunities for yourself and others.
Understand how to set goals and achieve them effectively; Adapting to challenges along the way, especially those that involve the human element and require mindfulness; and motivate others to help you pursue and achieve your purpose while contributing to positive culture, improved outcomes, and goals achieved.
Mark your goals
It would be best if you analyzed what successes would make you a successful person. Remember that they don't have to be material things. Most of the time we achieve personal fulfillment thanks to immaterial things.
It is good practice for you to write on a piece of paper all of the things that you want to achieve in detail.
Share your goals
Your goals will be easier to achieve if you break them down into small sub-goals. It would help if you tried to be as specific as possible.
For each sub-goal you set, add a date so that you set an expiration date. It will help you engage in your struggle to achieve this.
It is possible that you will have many goals to achieve in sharing and that you will be overwhelmed by the number of tasks to complete. In these cases, stick with only one or two of the goals you defined in the previous step.
Be aware of your limitations.
No matter how optimistic we are and how hard we are into something, we need to be aware that sometimes there are limitations and certain things that we cannot address. Keep it real
We must therefore be very clear about what we can and cannot address. If we are unable to do something that prevents us from achieving our goals, we must try to see if it is possible to find a solution to the problem, for example with the help of others.
never give up
On the way to overcoming the set goals, you are sure to find many obstacles. Instead of giving up, try to find solutions. This attitude differentiates successful people from those who are not. Never give up!
