I have no doubt about that – even if it's white, it will be a Christmas like no other.
Because the government and its advisory bodies are considering different restrictions, there is no guarantee that they will not change without warning. That is the reality of the situation.
This Christmas we may all have limited ability to travel and who to visit or who can visit us.
What is obvious, and we have customer feedback to back it up, is that the Covid Stone is a reality. Most of the things we took for granted were closed off or severely restricted from us. Routines were turned upside down, which in turn led to weight gain. for some it was negligible, for others it was significant, for some it was definitely a Covid Stone.
One of the most affected groups was those who were forced to work from home. They worked longer – they sat more and ate more. In addition, they had significantly reduced their movement.
Christmas can in some ways be seen as a voluntary lockdown. It's a long break with family, relatives, and friends where we sit back, relax, and celebrate. It's also a time when weight gain is an accepted norm.
But it doesn't have to be that way.
For the past 4 years, I have been showcasing our Christmas and New Years package as a preparation to protect myself from overeating and indulgence during this festive season.
This year I'm earlier than usual.
As I said above, this is not going to be a vivid Christmas like any other. Therefore, it is important for your weight management that you look ahead and plan how you will manage this time so that it does not affect your mental and physical wellbeing.
The Christmas and New Years Package is available at this link, and I will be linking this package to the other side of the New Years break from here every week.
