It's all about habits, that's the focus of Motivate Me this week.
Hope this post finds you and your family safe and healthy? Here in the clinics we work away as usual; Well, it can be as normal as normal in these strange and challenging circumstances.
What is now our new normal are the very strict hygiene guidelines that we adhere to. We disinfect everything, use the hand sanitizer all day and make sure the clinics are well ventilated. It is often cold, but that is a good sign that we are circulating fresh air.
For me they are habits that I have adopted at home too. We started in March last year and now I don't leave or enter the house (or clinics) without a few drops of hand sanitizer. It's all about habits
New Year's resolutions – swapping bad habits for good ones.
Often times we fail and that in itself is a habit. It's not just the New Year that we plan to change aspects of our lifestyle to bring about positive change. It's a year-round thing and for many, weight loss is high on the list.
You may recall that I asked for your feedback back in December for a New Year's Resolutions survey. Well, I discussed the results with Olivia Crinion over Dublin City FM during the week.
This is an interesting interview from the point of view of the uncertainty about weight loss and how to take the first step. Especially important as so many previous weight loss efforts have waned.
Making New Year's resolutions is and breaks a social habit.
Listen to the interview here. 11 minutes. Short, sharp and to the point.
