Weight reduction story: “I give up sugar and did HIIT at residence for 7 months to drop pounds”


To be honest, staying motivated during the lockdown was a challenge at times. I took this transformation as a mission and reminded myself every day that if I don’t make the effort, I’ll never see the new version of myself. When I started seeing results and started putting on my old clothes, it was easier to push myself and even more motivated me to continue on my journey.

How do you make sure you don’t lose focus? In the beginning it was difficult to get into a completely new routine, even during the lockdown. After 2 or 3 weeks it became easier to concentrate, whenever I felt like I was losing focus, I would imagine the new version of myself, old photos, old favorite clothes. It wasn’t easy, but it wasn’t impossible either.

What shape do you see yourself in 10 years later? 10 years later I want to inspire others, be a motivator for others who are still struggling to lose weight or face bodyshaming like I’ve experienced, and being a fitness trainer.

What lifestyle changes have you made? I practiced drinking 4 liters of water and watching out for binge eating. I started educating myself more in nutritious foods and macros. Quit junk food and any kind of candy.
